    The Oxford Branch of the BSAC is managed by a committee of members. It is appointed at the Annual General Meeting held in November and meets monthly. The links below will take you to pages on the current post holder and explain each role.

  • Equipment

    Kit officer Phil Stubbs - smiling as usual!The club has a long history of owning equipment for its members to use.

    In the early days divers explored the bottom of the Thames whilst wearing sweaters and old fire service breathing apparatus, but nowadays we provide full sets of kit for both training and diving.

    In this part of the website you will find details of the scuba diving kit we own which members can use for training, or hire out for general diving.There are also details of air fill prices - which are lower than commercial rates.

  • Boat

    endevourWe are a lucky group of divers, as we have our very own hard boat!

    Diving from our hard boat Endeavour is more comfortable than RIB diving, protects us from the elements, is cheaper than from charter boats and is a significant benefit of being a member of the club.

    She is moored in Weymouth and generally we dive around Weymouth and Portland, but also Swanage. On longer trips we've taken her to the Isle of Wight, Salcombe and even to France and back (for a week).

    Members can learn to crew, assist and skipper within the branch.
