Where to stay in Weymouth?

Accommodation

Oxford members have tried out lots of accommodation in Weymouth and this is not meant to represent an exhaustive list. Expect to pay upwards of £40 per night for B&B, more in the summer. Often the B&Bs are very booked up for the summer months of the dive season.

If you're really stuck there are two bunks on Gemini  which can be fun.....

Garvellach and Slate Isles Trip Videos

Here are some videos I shot during the Garvellachs and Slate Isles dive trip in September 2011. They aren't amazing quality, but I am inexperienced and can only get better (hopefully, anyway).

Dive Fest 2011

divefestlogoWe are taking both Isis and Naiad to Pentewan sands for Dive Fest 2011.

Both snorkeling and diving are planned with the reefs and wrecks of this Cornish beauty spot well worth the trip.

Avoid the royal wedding malarky and come diving instead!

Sign up in the clubhouse. We need numbers asap to book static caravans and boat spaces.

More details of the event itself can be found on the Dive Fest 2011 website.

For dive site information click here (the location hasn't changed since 2009, so this paperwork is still relevant).

For more information contact Chris S.

Upcoming major dive trips which the club is organising will be posted here. We go diving as often as possible and not all one-day or weekend trips will make it onto the website. All trips are posted in the clubhouse for members to sign up to, on a first-come first-served basis. Some trips require a desposit to be paid to secure a place, but many are conducted on trust, especially when we dive from club boats.

These are all trips which have been and gone or never actually happened! Either way some of the planning details here might prove useful to someone so we'll leave them on the website.
