Dive Trips

Fast, Stable, Spacious and Fun... but

Finally at sea and looking good, it seemed too good to be true. Unfortunately - for one weekend anyway - it was..!

After many late nights and several early mornings by those willing to help, Endeavour finally left for the coast last Thursday morning. Boats Officer John Waterhouse met the transport in Southampton where Endeavour was craned into the water for the first time. On Saturday John, Richard Fraser and Maurice Elway took her around to Weymouth and onto our mooring for the first time.

Interested in joining us on a trip?

We allow members of other BSAC branches (and BSAC Direct) to dive from our boats.

Have a look at the calendar and see if there is anything you'd like to do.

If you aren't a BSAC member you will have to join either:

If you are a qualified diver you will not be obliged to do any additional training with BSAC (although you can if you wish to and depending on your experience and qualification level it could limit what dives you are able to do).

If you have seen something on the calendar or the forthcoming trips pages that you are interested in coming along to then please get in touch as early as possible to try and secure a place. We often have spare spaces on our hardboat Endeavour so it is still worth getting in touch last-minute too.

Normandy Here We Come

We're off - Sat 23rd Oxford BSAC Normandy Expedition

We're all off on holiday to the lovely delights of Normandy. Endeavour will be joining us at Cherbourg and we're going to be diving for a week.

Wrecks, reefs and lots of exploring await. Check back in a week or so for the report.

  • Weymouth - a club guide

It's where our hardboat is moored, and we do a fair bit of diving there.

Upcoming major dive trips which the club is organising will be posted here. We go diving as often as possible and not all one-day or weekend trips will make it onto the website. All trips are posted in the clubhouse for members to sign up to, on a first-come first-served basis. Some trips require a desposit to be paid to secure a place, but many are conducted on trust, especially when we dive from club boats.

These are all trips which have been and gone or never actually happened! Either way some of the planning details here might prove useful to someone so we'll leave them on the website.
