The plan is to do some easy wreck diving – Countess of Erne and the Hartlepool on Saturday and on Sunday venture slightly further round Portland if possible to the James Fennel, finishing up with a drift (and maybe scallops) on Grove Point. All dives will be under 20m, so suitable for all grades.

Cost £25 per person per day on the boat. I have booked Hotel Aqua (the diver’s hotel attached to Scimitar dive shop) on Saturday night for 8 people twin-sharing at a cost of £22.50 each. This can be cancelled if people want to make their own arrangements, but this is right next to where we will launch the RIB and get air fills. And there are pubs there too. We will also need to pay around £2-3 each for boat permits.
