Review of BSAC Snorkelling Instructor Course: Feb 2012
On Saturday 18th February I joined a very pleasant, interesting bunch of peers for a two day Snorkel Instructor’s Course run by BSAC. For a weekend – it was an early start but everyone was in good spirits in anticipation of what we hoped would be an exciting, informative weekend.
As a diver I was surprised and pleased to see that the majority of my fellow students were also divers who, like me, recognised the importance of good snorkelling skills and how snorkelling can encourage future members to BSAC – both snorkellers and divers.

Dive Oxon 2012 – Back to Weymouth
19th-20th May 2012
Once again we have our annual get-together with clubs from across Oxfordshire to dive from Weymouth.
After last years partially successful (despite the weather) weekend, we are at it again! This year we are going back to Weymouth, camping at the popular East Fleet Campsite where we have a great relationship with the owners.
We hope to have lots of you attending for some great diving from many different platforms (including our new hard boat) and some excellent socialising.
As ever we hope to make this an inexpensive weekend open to divers of all experience and qualification, so bring the family.
A week in… The Isle of Wight – July 2012
Branch Summer Expedition: 21st to 28th July 2012
This is a family friendly week-long branch expedition (holiday) to the Isle of Wight.
We have in the past run a number of these weeks, based in Weymouth and Lyme Regis. This year I am planning to organise the week based in and around Shanklin IOW.
